Princess in a ballgown! That's how I felt in this dress. Which was the exact OPPOSITE of what I had envisioned, but when I put it on I knew it was the one!
It's surprisingly lightweight, all soft tulle except for a slip layer against your skin. It has beautiful light lace detailing over the bodice, covered by a thin layer of tulle that softens it all. The crystal detailing at the basque waist is flattering and subtle. There's a short chapel-length train, just enough to be elegant.
Professional alterations include: A seven-point exterior bustle added to hoist the skirt in the back for dancing, padded cups were added to the chest so no bra was required, and there were a few inches of length removed - I was personally 5'5" and 145 lbs, 34C when I wore this dress with flat shoes.
There are no stains, rips, tears, or other blemishes that I can find anywhere on the dress. VERY slight discoloration along the bottom edge of the hem from the floor of the reception hall, but I test-washed a spot and it came out easily.
