Classic Beautiful Silk Mikado A-Line Wedding Dress with Square Neckline and Straps
I adore this elegant, comfortable, flattering dress so much and hope it gets another chance of being worn and photographed!
Features:
- Corset top with a flowy skirt
- Accentuates waist (my body is relatively straight down from my bust to my hips so I loved this)
- Extremely flattering silhouette
- Bustles beautifully
- Corset that makes it pretty adjustable regardless if you're a pound lighter or heavier than your goal the day-of
- Pockets!! (my favorite feature)
- Full skirt with a long train
- Sewn in bra cups (I'm a size A, but you could replace these)
Color: - Ivory - I had my bridesmaids wear white and in the end, 1 of them wore ivory, while the 2 others wore true white and they all looked like the same color/nothing clashed
Condition:
- I wore this once and got it dry-cleaned
- A few visible flaws:
1) there is one nude-colored small makeup stain on the right side of the skirt
2) one small area of white discoloration on the left side of the skirt. This discoloration is white though so they are barely noticeable (and wouldn't be noticeable in pictures)
3) There is also one very small grey discoloration on the edge of the skirt on the back, near the end of the train
Alterations:
- I'm 5'4" and wore these with 3" heels so 5'7" in total; the dress just barely grazed the floor in front
- The top is structured but the waist could be pulled in tighter since it's a corset top
- I am an A cup in bras and had bra cups sewn in but it was still big for me so I ended up wearing a NuBra to fill in the sewn-in cups. I think someone who is a B could also fit this. Alternatively, you could have a tailor replace the sewn-in cups, or remove the cups completely
- Similarly, you could get the straps adjusted if you want longer / shorter
