Elegant Sleeveless Crepe Fit and Flare Wedding Dress with Illusion Back
I fell in love with this dress because of its modest and elegant neckline contrasted with its surprising and fun illusion back and gorgeous train. On my wedding day, I was overwhelmed by the compliments. Not just the, "You look beautiful." compliments but the, "You chose the most gorgeous wedding dress I have ever seen, and it fits you perfectly." ones.
Alterations: I am a Size 6 normally and purchased this dress new as a Size 12 and honestly could have worn it as-is, but I had a professional tailor make a few minor adjustments:
- Removed some extra fabric that was in the left hip (this didn't affect the seam line, it was fabric that wasn't laying flat beneath the surface),
- Adjusted the shoulder straps slightly so that the top would lay flat across my collar bones
- Added a French bustle and
- Added removable cups to the inside of the dress. The dress was not hemmed.
